Are you talking about the Metropolis that is silent and envisions the future as an underground factory? Because I thought nobody had seen that but stupid people like me who buys any movie at a pawn shop that looks interesting. I'm a bad example, I DO judge a book by its cover, as well as a CD, a movie... basically anything I can get away with. Oh, and I ramble, did I mention that? Well I do.

Yeah, the black and white movie. I've only seen it once, about 15 years ago at The Brattle Theater in Cambridge. It was on a double bill with Blade Runner. That night was one of the most memorable cinematic experiences of my life. I tend to buy movies semi-randomly as well. Books, too. My last book purchase was something called "An Opening Act of Unspeakable Evil" which I bought because that is the most fantastic title - EVER! Anyway, do you have a diaryland journal?

Metropolis was Hitler's favorite movie. I'm not saying that's bad and you're a freak, just something interesting. I myself have never seen it. I have seen SHIZoplis though, and it is the best movie ever.

Ooops, I mean Schizopolis.

Schizopolis looks cool, but is it really the best movie ever? I mean, Sylvester Stallone has made a lot of great films. ;)

And SHIZoplis - isn't that the new Snoop Dog Film? Fo shizzle.

You know, I'm rather fickle, so sometimes I think Pirates of the Caribbean is the best. Does that have to R's? Or The Pillowbook. Or maybe What's Up Tiger Lily? But Schizopolis is just genius. Steven Soderbergh is great.

Starke - PoC was good and so was What's Up Tiger Lily, but none of them compare to The Killer Shrews: http://imdb.com/title/tt0052969/ Check it out. You know you want to! -Crate

That sounds hilarious but also like it has wretched acting. I cannot STAND watching bad actors. Although I've acclimated myself to the Evil Dead movies. Because how can you not think Bruce Campbell is the man? I think I would like to have a killer shrew as a pet. Definitely. My freaking GOD, I put "to" instead of "two". I blame your diary! Somehow it makes me lose an IQ point or 10.

Starke - Killer Shrew's do NOT make good pets. I've got one and I need to keep him tied up in my basement. He ate my landlord's drunkard son. Luckily, my landlord's son is a prick and no one misses him. Anyway, I'm glad my diary has a stupefying effect. That is what makes it all worth it.
