I hate politcal blogs too. One thing that bothers me about blogexplosion is the amount of people who don't update. You take the time to surf but you can't write a few words to make me want to stay past the 30 seconds? Come on. I'm glad you didn't die in a freak UPS sidewalk incident. that would have been tragic.

Political blogs really suck. I have discovered, when surfing Blog Explosion, that all the Blogspot blogs have an awesome "Next Blog" button in the upper right hand corner, which doesn't mess up the counter. Cheating? Yes, but that's how much I don't want to read about how you are a red state conservative, Mr. Annoying. Or a blue state liberal. What. Ever. I'm also quite glad you didn't die, and I'm glad you got my CD.

I didn't come in from BlogExplosion, but I am a member. I don't enjoy political blogs either. I prefer to formulate my own opinions rather than having them foisted upon me by others.

Oh, my, gang! I just had lunch with Heather #1. I am totally smitten with her. I just don't know... I think she likes me too, but she keeps telling me that she is trying not to like me too much because it isn't safe. Oh, my... I just don't even know where to start... Anyway, thanks for the validation of the political blog non-sense. I really find those things annoying. And thanks for being glad I'm not dead. That is the sort of thing that can give a real boost to one's day. That and having lunch with the love of your life. That's good, too. Anyway, you all rock. All three of you, in three distinct and wonderful ways. But where the heck is Oomm?? She rocks, too, but she hasn't been updating every 20 minutes or leaving me comments and she usually does. I hope she's ok... And Beth - what's your address? I'm babbling now. I guess it's a side effect of love, right? Ta!

Ooh, I just got off Blog Explosion and there is a new feature where you can choose a class of blog to turn off, and they will never show up. Political blogs will never sully my screen again. Yes! And smitten, eh? Hmmm, I look forward to hearing about this. I'll shoot you an email with my address. I don't know where oomm is. Seriously, where is she? You're closer, go look for her!

Beth - I noticed that BE feature earlier this afternoon. And I just got an email from the guys over at BE announcing the feature. It's like some weird synchronicity... Anyway, this is the Heather in question: http://crateobscure.diaryland.com/050113_19.html as opposed to Heather #2 who you, Oomm and Elizabeth all seem to think is retarded: http://crateobscure.diaryland.com/comments/1107973833.html Anyway... I'm seeing her again in 90 minutes or so... Oy... my stomach hurts when I think about it. Maybe it would have been better if she stayed in Texas...

Oh, one other thing, Beth. Oomm's town is a non-trivial distance from Boston for people without a car. Otherwise, I might go and check on her.

Well, yes, but you're closer than, say, I am. Ah jeez, that's the other Heather? Well, like I said, I've never met a Heather I had a problem with. Heathers tend to be pretty down to earth. In my own personal experience, anyway, but since I'm the center of the universe it should work for everyone.

Hmm... I don't know if I'd describe Heather #1 as down to earth. Heather #2, maybe, but not Heather #1. Anyway, I don't think I will be getting over to Oomm's place anytime soon (Besides, I only know the town she lives it. I'm not going to knock on every door!). Perhaps if she is still unaccounted for tomorrow I will send her an email or something.

I love you guys. I spent the day laying on the couch saying I wasn't going to work because someone said it might snow at some point. There are real perks to my job. Anyway, I'm alive, and while I'd love to have Crate come knocking it would be tough since I don't actually live in the City I work in...oh, and I"m glad you aren't dead and that we're back to Heather No. 1.

I'm glad you're alive, too! Heather just left to go spend the night at the apartment of a mutual friend of ours. I miss her already... More on this tomorrow.
