I've never tried TaxCut. Now I won't.

Oh, but Beth, if you don't try it, you'll never appreciate the jokes I'm going to write for the book.

I did HR block this year. I got back like 4 times what I normally do. Apparently I'm eligible for things. who knew. [if i say something like "i hope i don't get audited" does that jinx me into it? I'm not actually saying it you see just hypothetically.] Lately I haven't been singing the entries but I have been saying them with this beat. Trying to get everything to match up. That might not make sense but there is still music going on while I'm reading it.

Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 10:48:50
No singing?
Worst. Opening Day. Ever.

Elizabeth - 2005-04-11 11:22:24
I know I feel like I'm doing something really bad. Okay I just re-read the entry and sang it to KMFDM's "Techno Combat".

Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 11:28:19
YAY!

oomm - 2005-04-11 14:29:00
I can't believe what a baby you are about something as simple as taxes. I've done everyone I know's taxes and everyone is getting buckets of money back. I've had my refund for MONTHS. Don't forget to file married. 2005 I'll be able to file you deceased, what fun we'll have. Also, at least people still READ your diary.
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 14:34:44
I'm not being a baby about my taxes. I'm being a baby about the stupid program I bought to do my taxes.
Ugh. I don't even want to think about it.
It'll be a hoot playing with all the tax implications of my grissly murder. Who will inhereit my kitty pot pie?
I can't understand why a cold-blooded killer doesn't get more hits on her diary. Oh, well. Perhaps if you went on a tri-state killing spree, that might work. Let me know how it goes.
Also, when does the next R.B. Bovious novel come out?
-------------------------------
Princess - 2005-04-11 14:44:47
stupid program STINKS. Good luck with it.
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 14:48:33
Thanks, Princess. I'm sure I'll need it.
-------------------------------
cold blooded killer - 2005-04-11 15:01:31
why are you buying stupid programs to do your taxes? what they hell is so hard about just doing your taxes, without fancy programs and the like? On, YOU KNOW PAPER. What makes you think kitty pot pie will be alive? What do you think that was I gave you for dinner last night? Hair in your food? Har! I hear that the new novel has been delayed. They couldn't get the okay to put the grizzly art work from the cover on the shelves.

Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 15:03:34
POOR KITTY!
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 15:04:21
whatever, you sleep next to that things box. Are you feeding him nuclear waste?
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 15:07:07
Well, I do mix some ectoplasm in with his dry food to make it more apetizing for him. But sill... I mean, cutting me up into tiny pieces, that I can understand, but POOR KITTY!
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 15:12:06
and yes beth I know I forgot the appostraphe' or however you spell it, get off my back, I'm busy!
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 15:17:35
Not so busy you can't find time to murder and then cook my pretty little kitty. Oh, woe is me... I feel so...so... emo!

Now that I'm emo (and dead) I bet I'll get lots of chicks!
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 15:17:43
holy italics batman. ectoplasm? and all that time I thought it was soilent green.
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 15:18:31
chicks love dead authors. too bad you never finished that novel.
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 15:18:58
and who said I cooked him first?
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 15:20:32
I think the italics are because dland is sad about my kitty.

I hear soylent green is people.
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 15:21:23
Don't you think I would have noticed raw kitty in my food? I mean, come on!
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 15:28:12
Honestly? No. I don't think you would. I've been given you dirty sock water in your coffee every day and you don't notice that. And you never noticed how the rats outside our building suddenly vanished the same weekend as I made you that lovely meatloaf. It's a myth, about the soylent green. Not people. It's druids.
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 15:28:47
whispering(seriously, do you think anyone else thinks we're as funny as we do?)
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 15:34:38
I thought soylent blue was druids... oh, well, you learn something every day.

(And no, no one could possibly realize how profoundly funny we really are. They would die from laughing.)
-------------------------------
soylent mac n cheese - 2005-04-11 15:39:30
soylent blue is teenage boys. I think you may be right. It's self preservation. but we are way funnier than McSweeney's, I'm just saying.
-------------------------------
Beth - 2005-04-11 15:41:10
I thought druids would be sort of soylent happy kaleidoscope. You know what is a stupid word to try to spell? Kaleidoscope. And you two entertain me to no end. Even if you do make her sleep next to the cat box.
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 15:47:41
Then what is soylent red???

And you're right. We are probably two of the funniest people on the internet. We're at least as funny as the hamster dance, anyway.

Druids are soylent happy something, that's for sure. And I admire your bravery for takling the spelling of the word "kaleidoscope". I would have simply chosen a different word like "tie-dyed" or something.
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 16:25:57
communists.
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-11 16:29:13
Of course! Simplicity itself!
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-11 17:03:32
it's monday, obvious humor or none at all, those are your choices.

stefanie - 2005-04-11 22:44:49
hi smitey
-------------------------------
Smitey - 2005-04-12 09:08:33
Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow meow.

[Translation:
I like chicken, I like liver, meow-mix, meow-mix, please deliver]
-------------------------------
oomm - 2005-04-12 11:58:34
Smitey the cat, singing from inside the corpse of his owner who ate him, tonight on American Idol!
-------------------------------
Crate Obscure - 2005-04-12 12:44:15
Which is more amazing: that Smitey survived my mastication and murder, or that I would - however indirectly - appear on a reality TV show?
