You're shrinking? Me too! Isn't it great fun to shrink?

Considering how much it's costing me to buy all the meat required to stay on the Atkins diet, I better be shrinking!

always got yer back in prayer, buddy.

I hear ya on the obnoxious rude liberals these days, and they call us judgemental and self-righteous! Look who's talking...

I know, I have to see the whole stinkin family for a cookout this fathers' day, plus bring salad and watermelon!

ag - Thanks!

Thank you for adding my blog to your link list. I'm flattered, too, to be considered a polite leftist, which does have a "jumbo shrimp" ring to it!

I dunno... yelling and hissing while someone is speaking is not what I would call polite.

And let's not forget the blogosphere. There is so much hate coming from that place, and I just don't think it is right to hate someone just for disagreeing with you.

And Michael Moore is a walking hate factory.

Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of hate on the right, too. Pretty much everyone involved in politics seems to be majoring in hate these days.

To paraphrase a line from a Kids in the Hall sketch "Issues make people angry".

Once upon a time, when people cared about each other and being civil to one another, it was considered very poor manners to discuss religion or politics in social situations. I find the angry, mean behaviour of both sides not only a very thin cover for ignorance of their perspective subjects, but unsettling and disappointing. You would think, after all the world's modern day technology and progress, you would think we as a people would be progressing with it, rather than regressing into ignorant, hateful animals.

I don't know what the cause is, but it would be nice for it to end.

Well, first thank you for a quote book worthy quote about the front porch.

Second, you know you're in the prayers already.

I think everyone's shrinking may be adding on to me. Want to send me all your old bigger clothes? If I sew them all together I might get a tent big enough to wear.

oh, and I find that nothing makes me more likely to be nice to someone than to have them charactarize humanity as ignorant, hateful animals...that breeds love right there.

Crate Obscure - 2005-06-16 14:17:52
Well, humans do act like ignorant, hateful animals - but that wasn't how they were originally planned.

picture me shaking my head sadly and wandering away.

Picture me as an undercover spy infiltrating a roller blading crime ring and falling on my ass. That was fun!
